With 23 years of real estate experience, the co-owner of The BAR Group consistently ranks as the number one agent in Lake Highlands and among Dallas’s top Realtors. Serving clients throughout North Texas, The BAR Group has sold more than $800 million in real estate, including over $150 million year to date in 2026.
A Southern Methodist University graduate with a degree in advertising and studio art, Amy combines a keen eye for design with creative marketing and a thoughtful, business-minded approach. Her experience includes representing hundreds of clients, mentoring agents, growing a brokerage to more than 300 agents, and renovating and building homes. She deeply values the relationships she has built with fellow agents, builders, and trusted professionals. Those connections benefit her clients through access to off-market opportunities, dependable resources, and collaborative problem-solving from preparation through closing.
Amy’s honors include D Magazine Best Realtor and Top Producer, Advocate Top 25 Agents, and the Texas Monthly Five Star Award. Equally meaningful to her is giving back. She was the first recipient of her Realtor association’s Ebby Halliday Community Service Award after chairing the Chi Omega Christmas Market for two consecutive years. She has also received American Cancer Society Corporate Hero Circle recognition and served in leadership roles with 100 Women of Lake Highlands, the Lake Highlands Junior Women’s League, the Lake Highlands Women’s League, SMU Chi Omega Housing Corporation, and her children’s PTAs.
Amy and her husband, Brent, owner of Dallas-based custom home building company Timmerman Development, are proud to call Lake Highlands home. Their daughter, Kallie, is a senior at Lake Highlands High School, and their son, Brayden, is in seventh grade at Lake Highlands Middle School. Outside of work, Amy enjoys playing tennis, cheering on the Wildcats, and spending time with family and friends.
